| The evolution of scientific communication leads to different scholarly publishing models. After systematically analyzing the characteristics of three publishing, which includes subscription publishing, open access and self-archiving, this paper explores the impact resulting from different publishing models on scientific research and socio-economic from a broad perspective, and analyzes influence mechanism of different scholarly publishing models from two perspectives of access and permission. |
